Your support for the Yoder Brothers Scholarship program continues to enrich the lives of the young men and women of the community. For the 2009-2010 school year, eight new scholarships totaling $19,500 were awarded. These grants were given to senior student-athletes at Berkshire, Cardinal and Newbury high schools. In addition, $52,500 will be given to past scholarship recipients who are still attending school, bringing the total monies distributed this school year to $72,000. Five past scholarship recipients will be graduating this year, bringing the total to 49 graduates since the inauguration of the scholarship program in 1997. All of these graduates express they carry with them, the knowledge their dreams of achieving a college education, were made possible by the Foundation and the people who generously support the scholarship program.

We are profoundly grateful to our many Corporate Members, the Cleveland Indians, and to all of you who, through your continued support and generosity, enable us to pass on the gift of financial aid to deserving and needy students in the community. Thank you for being a part of our effort as we diligently strive to provide the young men and women of the community a chance to fulfill their dreams of a higher education.
