The Yoder Brothers Memorial Foundation,
and our good friends at:
The North Coast Container Corporation
are proud to announce that:
the 16th Annual Yoder Brothers Memorial Invitational Golf Tournament was a resounding success!
With 149 golfers and 15 sports celebrities golfing this year, plus more than 80 dinner guests, we were advised that the event was the largest charity golf outing at Fowler’s Mill this year. The support and participation shows how great the community, friends, neighbors, strangers and family join together in a passionate spirit of giving and respect for education of the young men and women of the community.
Because of everyone's generous support and participation we grossed more than $55,000 and although we have not completed the financials, we should enrich the scholarship fund by more than $38,000. We understand how challenging it is to make generous charitable contributions in these tough economic times, and we are humbled by the continuing generosity and support for the Foundation’s scholarship program.
Mike Hargrove of the Cleveland Indians was the Guest Speaker. The stories of his baseball career were very entertaining and involved many questions from the lively audience. He was very quick and his humor was witty and clever. Thank you Mike for a wonderful evening!
